Back at Home!

We're back at home now.  Mom is resting in bed while sipping chicken noodle soup and eating Xmas cookies.  Parker and Finley are providing loads of entertainment.

Big thanks to Mom and Dad's neighbor Ann Fairchild for bringing over her signature spaghetti dish!

  10. Hey Julie,

You've been on my mind constantly all day. Thankful that the surgery went well. Now, praying for a speedy recovery. Sounds like you are being well taken care of. What more can you ask for to help you recover....surrounded by the great men in your life and your beautiful grand-
children! I know the TFWC girlfriends have you in their prayers and send you a big hug! We're also thankful for Joel in setting up this blog and keeping us updated.

    Love ya,
    Gracia

PS. One of my favorite verse in the Bible is Ephesians 3:20. I prayed that verse everyday during my illness.

  11. Just reading all the wonderful news that surgery went well etc. Soak in all that TLC from your family, I know you will. Laughter helps the healing process, and I know you'll be getting alot of that with Parker and Findley around. I'm praying for a speedy recovery. So glad the surgery is over for you.
    TFWC love to you.

  12. I'm so glad to hear things are going well...or at least as well as they can given the circumstances. Matt and I have been thinking about you but not wanting to interrupt the time with your family. But we'll be sure to bring over a bottle of wine if you want some company in the next few days. And if you're feeling up to it, we hope you'll still come by for the party on the 3rd!

  13. Hey Jules,
I was thinking and praying for you and your family all day yesterday. Great news about the nodes!! Soak up all that grandchildren love; Ted and I had the boys all day yesterday. Being with grandchildren makes most worries disappear at least for a while. So glad all the family made it to Indy safely and wishing them safe travels back to their respective homes. Tell your Ted to keep you laughing because that really is the best medicine!!
    Love, Becky

Yeah! Great news! I'm continuing to pray the final report is ditto.
Have you visited the Cancer Survivors Park in the IU complex? I saw my first one in Santa Rosa, CA where our youngest daughter and her family live. There are at least 22 parks in the US and Canada. They are so encoraging. My favorite plaque states, "Make up your mind that when your cancer is gone you are through with it." I'll try to forward some pictures of the park in CA on your regular email. Stay strong. Janet Mller
